Along with those efforts we are here to help our Veteran Service Organizations by offering workshops to understand conflict and its effects on behavior, mental health, physiological health, team environments, and communities — it’s not just what we do, it’s how we do it that sets us apart.

For custody and visitation in Buffalo/Erie County, private mediation commonly costs from roughly $1,000 to $4,000 total, while a contested court case with private attorneys can readily cost $5,000 to tens of thousands of dollars. Although Buffalo/ Erie County New York’s court filing is free, information states that parents may use mediation before court, and a case can be referred to mediation at any stage if both parents agree. Our custody and visitation mediation begins at $225 per hour, with many families resolving their concerns in several focused sessions—often at a substantially lower total cost than retaining separate attorneys for a contested Family Court case. Your final cost depends on the number of sessions and the complexity of the parenting issues, such as schedules, holidays, decision-making, communication, and transportation.
