Latisha Butler
Certified Mediator & ADR Professional
MEDIATOR · CONFLICT RESOLUTIONIST
Butler ADR & Consulting was built on a simple but powerful belief: that every person deserves to have their conflict handled with dignity, expertise, and fairness — outside of a courtroom whenever possible. With over a decade of experience in alternative dispute resolution, the practice has helped hundreds of individuals, families, and organizations move from conflict to clarity — in matters ranging from complex commercial disputes to deeply personal family challenges.
Latisha Butler, M.S. is the Butler ADR & Consulting founder and Principle Practitioner. Latisha Butler, M.S. is a Conflict Resolutionist who studied Applied Psychology and Conflict Analysis and Resolution with the concentration in best business practices and has a unique professional background. Latisha Butler, M.S. has deployed and served as a Company and Battalion Human Resources and Postal Operations Noncommissioned Officer in the U.S. Army, serves on the Army ADR Program Neutral Roster, a member of the New York State Dispute Resolution Association (NYSDRA), and has volunteered as a Small Claims mediator at Community Dispute Resolution Center (CDRC) in Buffalo, NY, where she completed her apprenticeship in Child Access and Visitation mediation for the NYS Part 146 Family Court Systems, Restorative Practices, and Conflict-Coaching Training in the State of New York. Her conflicts of interest and expertise serve in workplace and family disputes, where she takes a creative-thinking and solution-centered approach. Latisha Butler, M.S is an internationally certified workplace mediator and trainer and Conflict Dynamic Profile Certified Facilitator accredited by the Mediation Training Institute. Latisha Butler, M.S. specializes in military conflicts where she focuses on the unique environments, structures, and demands of soldiers while serving — she continues her education in trauma-informed practices provided by the Center of Deployment Psychology for best practice, professionalism, impartiality, and cultural awareness.
A certified mediator, Latisha brings a calm, structured, and deeply empathetic approach to every case. The goal is never just a settlement — it's a resolution that both parties can live with and build on.
Butler ADR & Consulting approach is structured in the conflict theories centered within organizational, deployment psychology, and the familial interpersonal dynamics — understanding that the conflict is rarely one-dimensional and stems from disconnection or misalignment in communication styles. We Recognize that there are different styles to communication, cultural, intersectional, and multi-generational perspectives to every problem. That is why we center solution-focused conflict management skills and procedures, restorative practices, and strategic communication techniques to help clients produce productive dialogue, implement organizational structures, mirror mutual respect, and achieve sustainable outcomes. Here we provide various facilitation methods, transformational management, and thoughtful engagement, to environments so participants are validated, seen, heard, respected, and empowered throughout the resolution process.
Our consulting and training services are established to service decision-makers, or managers within various departments in HR, Employee Relations, EEO/DEI, Military-servicing programs as well as for Service Members, and individual leaders seeking confidentiality, industry expertise, relationship preservation, cost, and time efficiency purposes. Whether in-person or virtually for clients within the United States and active-duty members overseas, Butler ADR & Consulting services are designed to foster prevention structures, collaboration mindsets, accountability, long-term resolution, and avoid the costs of lawsuits and litigation.
Butler ADR & Consulting is here to do more than resolve your disputes—it is here to help you strengthen your relationships, improve the workplace culture, and create pathways toward sustainable communication and growth.
